About Us
About Us:
Ridge Road Baptist is a place where you and your family can find many opportunities for worship and service. We have a great Sunday School program offering classes for all ages. In our services, you will find spirit-filled singing, Bible preaching, and friendly people. We are a church that is committed to reaching sinners with the gospel. We offer a weekly visitation program, free transportation, and world evangelism. We believe Jesus is coming soon and that we have been given the privilege and responsibility to share the gospel in our community and around the world.
Our goal is to further equip men and women for the ministry and the work of the Lord.
What we believe:
Inspiration of the Bible:
We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testament is the complete revelation from God and is verbally inspired. We believe the King James authorized Bible is God’s preserved Word.
2 Timothy 3:16
The person of God:
We believe God is supreme in His person, eternal in His being, absolute in His attributes, and glorious in His perfection. We believe in the Trinity.
Isaiah 63:16
The person of Jesus Christ:
We believe in the virgin birth of Christ, His deity and sinless life, His vicarious death, His bodily resurrection and ascension, and in His personal, pre-tribulation, and premillennial return.
Isaiah 9:6-7
The person of the Holy Spirit:
We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, and that His purpose is to convict sinners and offer salvation through the person of Jesus Christ. Christians are partakers of the Holy Spirit and empowered for service by Him. He is the Great Comforter.
John 16:7-11
The fall of man:
We believe that man was created in the image of God and by choice fell into sin and death. Hence, every person is sinful and under condemnation to eternal judgment.
Romans 5:12
The Salvation of Sinners:
We believe that the salvation of sinners is wholly of grace and that Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation. The condition of salvation is repentance toward God and Faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work. We believe salvation produces a new creature.
Acts 20:21
The security of the Believer:
We believe that those who receive Jesus Christ as Savior are eternally secure. Our security rests on the finished work of Jesus Christ as a result we have assurance.
Ephesians 4:30
The Church:
We believe that the visible church is a congregation of baptized believers, practicing New Testament principles, believing its doctrine, observing its ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s supper, and exercising its autonomy.
1 Timothy 3:15
The Doctrine of Heaven & Hell:
We believe in the eternal blessedness of the saved in Heaven and the eternal punishment of the lost in Hell.

We believe in the Great Commission:
As given by our Lord which is to preach the Gospel to the whole world and to seek the salvation of lost souls.
